I really would see a doctor I had one when I was younger and they put me on a series of meds for a month and it was healed!
But the best way to keep it from coming back is to figure out why you are stressed and then figure out a creative way to deal or eliminate the stress!
Take more time for yourself and do things that are calm and relaxing! If you are stressing out close your eyes for a few moments and go to that happy place. You need to learn to chill out!
Good luck and peace to you!

Have you had it checked out??? Might be that you have a stomach inffection with helicobacter- causes ulcers in your stomach.
Otherwise the only thing that got rid of my ulcers was stuff like milanta. Try and avoid spicy foods and tomatoes, chocolate and nuts cos they all aggrevate the ulcers.
And if you are on medication such as ibuprofen they tend to cause/irritate stomach ulcers as well, so try and eat something before taking the drugs.

Hello Alison. Sorry to hear your condition,I get IBS and stress plays a part in that. Two things have relieved my symptoms. For the stress-Self Hypnosis taught by a clinical hypnotherapist, and with a book called-Secrets of Self Hypnosis by Gilbert Oakley. And Aloe Vera juice. The latter sold in the states for about $30, and you only will need about a tablespoon daily. Both these help my irritable bowel. I have of course had to knock off Alcohol, and watch my diet.Your ulcer will benefit I'm certain. Good Luck!

The medication you could try is Prilosec OTC. Ulcers are most likely caused by acid reflux. Prilosec is the best thing they've got for that, according to my doctor.

First of all you have to realize it isn't jus stress, stress is a cop out. Whats eating you up dear.....whats hurts so bad, or is so infuriating to you that you trying to disintegrate yourself in order to hide it or not face it? Think on those things....and buy two books, hell rent them from the library if you want, but they are worth the cost of purchasing them. The first is "You Can Heal Your Life" by Louise L Hay, the second is "Letting Go" by Guy Finlay.....
When we punish ourselves because something is bothering us we manifest a dis-ease with our situation, or thought. Unfortunantly when it comes to ulcers this also opens us to a bacterial infection that makes it impossible to heal. There are many essential oils, I personally would never use anything but Youn Living Essential Oils, that can help your immune system and prevent any further damage so your stomach can heal.
meditation is nice, but letting go of the crap so it never bothers you to begin with is even more important.....so whats eating you up babe????

Did you have the Ucler diagnosed from a doctor? Before you start any treatments you should make sure it is not due to other things like H. Pylori or some form of cancer.
