if you notice her having a hard time breathing then bundle her up and take her outside. the coolness in the air might open up her airways and help her. I have two little ones that are 7 and 4. my 4 year old gets croup all the time. Is the cough sounding like a seal. if so then you should take her to the doctor. chances are it COULD be croupe. Im not a doc and dont know all symptoms so my best advice would be the doctor. good. luck.

Do not give her anymore over the counter medications unless you are under the guidance of her pediatrician. Have her sit next to a hot steamy shower to loosen up the mucous. Make sure she is drinking a lot of clear liquids to keep her throat clear, dilluted orange juice is good and will give her extra vitamin C.

honey, lemon & ginger for the cough
and menthol crystals in hot water for the congestion,
probably best in a bath. what i do is, put a few crystals in a bath and run a HOT bath obviously do NOT put baby IN the bath, just hold her on your knee in the bathroom, the steam will alleviate the congestion, and give her one almighty runny nose, but better out than in, she will feel so much better after that, when the steam has gone (the water will have cooled) make sure its cool enough and then bathe her in it, its amazing what this does for a little one,

At that age, you should take her to a doctor. I would not guess due to the new flu that is going around.

First off, a trip to the doctor. Then, steam can help the congestion. For the cough, try some warm lemonade with a lot of honey in it. We make it with sliced ginger boiled in the water and call it gollum juice. It’s good hot or cold and really soothes the throat.

I’m not big on doctors, but in this case, I recommend taking her in to see her pediatrician. 20 months old is a prime age for crup and whooping cough, both of which are very serious and something you’d want to catch early!

    forget Home Remidies…
Take her to a Dr. ….
Rule ALLERGY In or Out of the Patient Equation
a Blood Test to check for FOODand InHalent Allergies …
Prob Cockroach, Dust mite with a little CAT mixed in
