Many skin problems are from the inside out.
What are you feeding?
Food allergy wouldn't surprise me.
Based on what you say you're feeding - I'd say that's your problem right there. You need to get her off the corn filled garbage and chances are her problem will disappear.

I don't know about home remedies but there are plenty of topicals that you can buy that will help.
If that is not an option at this moment, calamine should help, but do NOT let the dog lick whatever you use unless you're sure it's safe! I would call a vet & see before you use anything you're unsure of.
Good luck.

Depending on the type of rash bendryl cream for adults is what the vet my say. If it is hot spot, get hot spot meds at petco or petsmart store; just ask store associate for help finding. Then again your dog my have dry skin and good ole baby oil will work after bathings, this also means your dog doesn't need frequent bathings, baths dry their skin. After two days if the rash worsen see vet.

Do you know what caused the rash? is it bugbite, or is it contact dermatitis? is it food allergy? You need to fix the cause, this will eliminate the topical issue. If its a bug bite, you can shampoo the dog in teatree oil and oatmeal shampoo, it will both clean and soothe the bite. If its a contact dermatitis, you can shampoo the dog in dawn dishwashing liquid to topically remove the cause of the itchies. If its cause by food allergy, then again with the teattree oil and oatmeal shampoo, but your underlying cause is food and the rash will remain until a proper diet is addressed.
Hope this helps,
