Colloidal Silver – A couple of drops in the ear every day. Colloidal Silver is a natural antibiotic/antibacterial and can be found at any health food store or at GNC. It can be used for humans and animals. I’ve used it for myself for colds and infections and I have also used on my dog for an ear infection. It clears the infection up very quickly.

I am totally into home remedies, but for an infection he really will need a doctor.
On top of the anti-biotics, ( I know this sounds weird ) my mom puts a clove of garlic in the ear to help with the pain. All my siblings say it works and we have friends that also do that. Hope that helps!!!

Warm wet cloth, warm clove oil, Tylenol for the pain
There is some over the counter drops you can buy too.http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.j…
You can call the doctor but more and more doctors are using the wait and see approach with ear infections because they have realized they usually get better on their own. There are some prescription strength drops that work great.

Don’t mess around with herbs for a child’s ear infection. Ear infections are extremely painful. (It was the worst pain in my life. Even worse than 3rd degree burns I had once.) Take them to the doctors and get something for it. If you don’t you risk the child’s comfort and hearing.DO NOT USE COLLOIDAL SILVER. IT CAUSES ARGYRIA.
