Because the mites are under the skin, the head lice treatment won't reach them unless you practically drown your kids in it! Scabies are found in between the fingers and toes, and then after that in the creases or elbows and knees, anywhere warm and hard to wash. Is there a possibility that you and your daughter have caught chicken pox or measles from someone? If the bumps are all over and your daughter is unwell in herself as well it sounds more like that sort of thing. If you really can't afford a doctor, try NHS direct online.
