What Is/are The Best Home Remedies For Sunburn?

Some like Aloe Vera, but I prefer Apple Cider Vinegar. You can add it to your bath, as needed, or apply it directly to the affected areas. It not only excelerates the healing, it immediately takes the, “burn,” out of the sunburn.
You can also fill a tub with cool water and add a 1lb box of baking soda to the water and soak for about 30 minutes. This is soothing and also relieves the, “burn.”
Other than that, keep the burn clean and dry. Applying creams, butters, lotions, and gels only traps the heat in a sunburn and ends up doing more damge in the long run. The burn heals much faster when exposed to the air!

This is a ‘SORE’ point for me. Treat sunburn as ‘a burn’ coolish showers, medicated cream for burns. Don’t do it again! The SUN is a killer. Protect yourself next time. SLIP SLOP SLAP!

Have to agree with the previous answer and say Aloe Vera. If you can obtain the plant and use the jelly from the plant than even better. Also cold water compreses are very helpful. Good Luck!
