I would say absolutely purchase a jar of coconut oil, or you can actually get a tub from Holland and Barratt, people with severly dry skin who have tried everything have reported the benefits of using coconut oil. It can be consumed or rubbed all over the skin – if this is too pricey for you (tho it is cheaper online and a whole tub last a long time) olive oil is also very good as a moisturiser.
Coconut Oil doesn’t come in liquid form, it’s a solid, so it’s ideal for rubbing onto skin, it’s very creamy.

Yeah I get dry skin around my forehead and chin at this time of the year and although the cream I use is thick it does wonders for my skin. I use normal Nivea just before I go to bed and my skin is wonderfully soft the next day. In fact if I forget to put it on in the evening and I need to put makeup on as long as I put cream on say an hour before hand, it still feels smooth enough not to have to worry about flaky skin when I put foundation on.
    Hope this helps!

Exfoliate with brown sugar and honey to get rid of the dead skin. Then use olive oil to moisturize your face! Make sure its pure not vegetable oil. Think it will break you out? IT WON’T :) it it feels greasy just rinse it off after :) Well known for doing the job. http://andis.factoryoutletstore.com/imag…

Some of the stuff above seems really gross.
I just use Saint Ive’s soap.
    It really works.
First, wash your face with warm water to open pores.
    Gently wash with the soap.
Rinse off with cold water to close the pores.
Use a good moisurizer after you pat-dry your face.

    Clinique Dramtically DIfferent Moisturizing Lotion
it’s expensive, but so so so so so so so so so worth the money, and it won’t dry out your skin AND it lasts super long :)
you can get it at any Sephora or big department store (Macy’s, Nordstrom, Carson’s, Lord & Taylor, etc.)

I’ve heard eggs yolks and whites and raw cucumbers slices are good for skin, and just use creams/lotions that says hydrating, extra-moisturizing, and for sensitive skin. Some good brands are Olay, Neutrogena, Jergens, Aveeno.
