What Are Some Home Remedies For Mouth Ulcers Or Canker Sores?

Well, I’ve had issues with Canker Sores (ulcers in the mouth) in the past and the only thing that I’ve found helps enough is DGL (Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice). It’s commonly used to help with ulcers in the stomach, but it helps really for any ulcer.
DGL doesn’t taste very good, but you have to get a chewable form, bite off a small piece, chew it up, then let it sit on the Canker Sore for several minutes. It seems to work faster when there’s some saliva in there to keep it moist (almost to the consistency of a gel, but enough to keep the nutrients there). I found that it cleared up really bad ones within a few days when they wouldn’t clear on their own.

Try mangosteen juice. Take an ounce or 2 and swish it around in your mouth then swallow it. Doing this 2 or 3 times a day will probably help.

My grandmother used to recommend hydrogen peroxide. Don’t swallow it, just gargle or swish it around.

Gargle with warm salt water three times a day.
