Honey and oil can work, the only thing is it made my hair kind of sticky and it felt like it had a coating on it... I didn't like it.
Eggs work, and make the hair shiny, but then your hair smells like eggs.
Either way, it's a trade off.
My daughter Jaylene is 3 years old and she has extremely frizzy/curly hair, and I read in a book that using only conditioner can really help. It certainly works for her, and removes the dirt and grime as well.
Good luck :)

Not sure about the remedies you've listed but certainly mayonnise is supposed to be good...leave it on your hair overnight. Similarly hot oil is good for conditioning and should help reduce frizziness.
Most of these treatments work better with heat and time so, wrap your hair in cling film and apply a low heat with a hairdryer. (Never had any experience of the cling film melting just in case you're wondering!!) I then wrap my hair in a towel. If you have time to spare in the morning, apply these treatments in the night time and rinse out thoroughly in the morning.

its probably best to get a trim, but what works well is if you get olive oil and lather it all in your hair (when its dry) and let it sit for about thirty minutes. then rince it out and shampoo it (shampoo it alottt) and then conditioner and let the conditioner sit for five minutes then rince it out complteely.
you can only do this once a month because you dont want to over hydrate it.
also, when your hair is dry, get a little bit of lotion and rub it on your hands and like rub it in, then run your fingers through youre hair lightly and softly brush it over fly aways (:
you could also get frizz ease ;)
